Edna Lima is a faculty member in the ELIP Program/Linguistics Department at Ohio University, where she is currently teaching Oral Communication Skills for International Teaching Assistants, Writing for Research to domestic and international graduate students, and Computers in Language Teaching II for MA students in Linguistics. She is also the Coordinator of the ELIP Writing & Critical Reading Labs. In addition, she is instructor and developer of Online Certificate Programs. Edna has taught EFL/ESL/ESP for over 20 years. She earned her Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics and Technology from Iowa State University.Her main research interests are English pronunciation and technology applied to pronunciation teaching and learning. Her other research interests include CALL, language assessment, material design, and ITA training.
