I am Assistant Professor of Applied Linguistics in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Jordan. I obtained my PhD in Applied Linguistics from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in Australia in 2014. My PhD thesis was concerned with pronunciation instruction in Jordan. My specialty is English phonology and pronunciation instruction. My research interests include – in addition to English phonology and pronunciation instruction – first and second language acquisition, teacher and student cognition and beliefs, and language learning strategies. I have published some papers on pronunciation (please check websites below).
